Professional Experience
Over the course of her practice and training, Dr. Brennan has gained experience in a multitude of different treatment settings. She has worked at universities, medical centers, and schools as well as in private practice – all of which have provided her with a greater understanding of holistic care. Dr. Brennan started her professional career as a psychologist and assistant professor at Rush University Medical Center. She worked within Rush’s Department of Psychiatry, alongside medical doctors, psychiatrists and counselors, to provide individual outpatient therapy, as well as family-based treatment.
Following Rush, Dr. Brennan transitioned to the private practice setting. She joined a group practice, which specialized in women’s mental health. She then started her own practice, with a focus on mind and body wellness. Dr. Brennan currently provides individual psychotherapy, group workshops and personalized care to clientele. She enjoys working with a wide array of individuals, who present with varying challenges, goals and strengths.
